Nanak Care Pty Ltd (ABN 85 668 156 652) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly — your name, contact details, the supports you are enquiring about, and whether you have NDIS funding. If you become a participant we will also collect information needed to deliver supports safely, which may include health and disability information.

Health and disability information is sensitive information under the Privacy Act. We only collect it with your consent and only where it is reasonably necessary for us to provide supports.

What happens to a website enquiry

When you send the enquiry form, your details are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered by email to our own mailbox at info@nanakcare.com.au. That mailbox is provided by Zoho Corporation and is hosted in Australia. The enquiry is not stored in a database on this website, and what you write in it is never sent to any advertising, analytics or marketing service — including our website analytics, described below.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We may share it with your consent, or where required by law, with support workers delivering your supports, allied health professionals or Support Coordinators involved in your plan, and the NDIA or NDIS Commission where we are required to report.

How we store it

Information is held in secured systems with access limited to staff who need it. We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Contact us at info@nanakcare.com.au.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we will respond. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. Complaints about the quality or safety of NDIS supports can go to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544.

Website analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move around this website — which pages are read, which search terms bring people here, and whether the site works on their device. It sets cookies in your browser and sends that usage information to Google, a company based in the United States.

We have turned off Google’s advertising features: no cross-device tracking, no advertising profiles, and your IP address is anonymised.

Your enquiry is not part of this. What you type into the enquiry form — your name, contact details, what you are looking for, anything you tell us about disability or health — is sent only to our own mailbox. It is never passed to Google Analytics or any other third party.

You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on, and the site will work exactly the same.
